Enzymatic Treatment Protocol

Treatment Protocol

The Enzymatic Treatment combines gentle, yet powerful enzymatic and AHA exfoliants for immediate skin brightening and anti-aging benefits. The result after receiving this treatment is instantly stronger, healthy-looking skin with a noticeable glow

Cleanse

1. Facial Wash Oily/Problem – Cleanse the area thoroughly. Rinse and pat dry.

Prep/degrease

2. Smoothing Toner – Apply with a cotton pad to prep (degrease) the skin. Allow the skin to dry. This product may sting or tingle on some individuals. Assess sensitivity by asking the patient, “On a scale of one to ten, ten being extremely active, how do you rate this sensation (or feeling)?”

Treat

3. Enzymatic Treatment – Dispense a generous amount of Enzymatic Treatment, enough for full face application, into a small peel dish. Apply with a mask brush over the entire treatment area. Massage into the skin for approximately three to five minutes or until fully absorbed. The client may feel some stimulation during the treatment. Fan the client to keep them cool.

Correct

5. After removing the mask, customize the protocol with a combination of corrective daily care products to address your patient’s particular concerns and skincare goals. Refer to your customization chart on page 286 for suggestions.

Retinoid Booster (optional)

6. Advanced Treatment Booster – Dispense two pumps into gloved hands. Gently spread the product over the area of treatment, keeping application even and thin.

Hydrate & protect

7. ReBalance and the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product – Complete the treatment with this combination to calm, hydrate and protect the skin from UVA and UVB exposure.

8. Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster– Finish with a liberal application to improve hydration and reduce the appearance of lip lines.

Note: Apply the appropriate PCA SKIN broad spectrum SPF product prior to applying Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster to protect the lips from UVA and UVB exposure.
