Folliculitis Treatment Protocol

Treatment Protocol

This treatment is designed to clear and control folliculitis in the skin of those undergoing chemotherapy. This is a gentle treatment, however many experts consider the majority of anti-cancer therapies are related to cutaneous adverse skin concerns and are linked to skin barrier dysfunction. Therefore it is important to incorporate the soothing and hydrating correctives in the correct step of this protocol,  as well as at home. Maintaining skin barrier function may control the severity of these symptoms.

Note: this treatment protocol is based on anecdotal case studies  and has yet to be proven to be safe and effective when treating patients undergoing chemotherapy by PCA SKIN® research and development. Always consult the patient’s Oncologist prior to treatment.
