Acne and Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Regimen

Daily Care Regimen

This protocol is designed to treat the superficial hyperpigmentation brought on by acne. This particular daily care regimen is best suited for patients who are concerned with acne and the resultant post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). It can be used on all Fitzpatrick skin types and sensitivity levels.

morning:

1. Cleanse with a dime-size amount of Facial Wash Oily/Problem. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

2. Spot-treat areas of discoloration with one to two pumps of Pigment Gel® HQ Free.  Allow to penetrate and dry.

3. Apply one to two pumps of Vitamin b3 Brightening Serum to entire face for accelerated brightening and anti-inflammatory benefits. It is effective in the correction of current and prevention of future discolorations.

4. Apply the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product for daytime moisture and broad spectrum UV protection.

evening:

1. Cleanse with the Blemish Control Bar®. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

2. Spot-treat areas of discoloration with one to two pumps of Pigment Gel® HQ Free. Allow to penetrate and dry.

3. Spot-treat areas of breakouts with one to two pumps of Acne Gel. Allow to penetrate and dry.

3. Apply a pea sized amount of Intensive Clarity Treatment®: 0.5% pure retinol night to entire face.

4. Apply ReBalance for normal to combination skin or Clearskin for oilier skin types.
