Acne Control with BPO

Daily Care Regimen

This regimen is designed for more resilient acneic skin types. The products included are formulated with the OTC acne drug ingredient benzoyl peroxide, proven to penetrate follicles to clear existing and prevent future acne lesions. This protocol fights breakouts while keeping the skin healthy and hydrated.

Note: Mild irritation may initially be experienced with use of the retinol product in this protocol and is not a sign of a negative complication. Introduce slowly, starting at once or twice a week and building up to every other night or nightly, depending on tolerance.

BPO 5% Cleanser (7 fl oz/206.5mL bottle), and Acne Cream (net wt 0.5 oz/14g tube)

Morning:

  1. Cleanse the skin with a small amount of BPO 5% Cleanser. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply a smooth layer of Acne Cream to reduce breakouts.
  3. Optional: Apply a small amount of Clearskin for light hydration and to promote  a clear complexion.
  4. Apply the appropriate Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 product for daytime moisture and broad spectrum UV protection.

Evening:

  1. Cleanse the skin with a small amount of BPO 5% Cleanser. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply a smooth layer of Acne Cream.
  3. Apply a pea-sized amount of Intensive Clarity Treatment®: 0.5% pure retinol night to increase cell turnover and promote a clear complexion.
  4. Apply a small amount of Clearskin.

Weekly:

  1. Cleanse the skin with a small amount of BPO 5% Cleanser. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply an even layer of Purifying Mask and leave on for approximately five minutes.
  3. Remove mask with warm water using gentle circular motions to activate the microfine pumice for the ultimate in skin smoothing and detoxification.
  4. Apply the appropriate Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 product in the morning, or Clearskin in the evening.

Tips: Add Smoothing Toner once daily to oily skin. Intensive Clarity Treatment®: 0.5% pure retinol night may also be used to encourage an even skin tone. Apply one to two pumps of Hydrating Serum to obtain optimal moisture levels. Apply one to two pumps of Rejuvenating Serum for soothing benefits. Apply one to two pumps of Anti-Redness Serum to calm skin and reduce the appearance of redness.
