Acne Control with Salicylic Acid

Daily Care Regimen

This regimen is designed for blemish-prone and oily skin types. The products included are formulated to penetrate follicles to help clear existing acne blemishes and prevent future breakouts, while keeping the skin healthy-looking and hydrated.

Note: Mild irritation may initially be experienced with use of the retinol product in this protocol and is not a sign of a negative complication. Introduce slowly, starting at once or twice a week and building up to every other night or nightly, depending on tolerance.

Blemish Control Bar (jar); Acne Gel (1 fl oz/29.5mL bottle)

Morning:

  1. Cleanse the skin with a small amount of Facial Wash Oily/Problem. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply a pea-sized amount of Acne Gel to eliminate existing acne lesions and prevent future breakouts.
  3. Optional: Apply a small amount of Clearskin for hydration and to promote
    a clear complexion.
  4. Apply Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 product for daytime moisture and broad spectrum UV protection.

Evening:

  1. Cleanse the skin with the Blemish Control Bar. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply a pea-sized amount of Acne Gel to lesions.
  3. Apply a pea-sized amount of Intensive Clarity Treatment®: 0.5% pure retinol
    night to increase cell turnover and to promote a clear complexion.
  4. Apply a small amount of Clearskin for soothing, non-oily hydration.

Weekly:

  1. Cleanse the skin with a small amount of Facial Wash Oily/Problem. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  2. Apply an even layer of Purifying Mask, and leave on for approximately five minutes.
  3. Remove mask with warm water using gentle circular motions to activate the microfine pumice for the ultimate in skin smoothing and detoxification.
  4. Apply Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 in the morning, or Clearskin in the evening.

Tips: Add Smoothing Toner once daily to oily skin.  Intensive Clarity Treatment®: 0.5% pure retinol night may also be used to improve skin tone. Apply one to two pumps of Hydrating Serum to obtain optimal moisture levels. Rejuvenating Serum may also be used for calming, soothing, and to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Apply one to two pumps of Anti-Redness Serum to reduce the appearance of redness. ReBalance helps reduce the look of redness.
