Aggravated Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema Regimen

Daily Care Regimen

This regimen is designed for the treatment inflamed atopic dermatitis or eczema and other dry sensitized skin conditions. When the condition calms, follow the daily care regiment for non-inflamed atopic dermatitis/eczema regimen. Consult your dermatologist if the condition persists or worsens.

Creamy Cleanser (7 fl oz/206.5mL bottle); Hydrating Serum (1 fl oz/29.5mL bottle)

Morning:

1. Cleanse with a small amount of Creamy Cleanser. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

2. To help soothe the skin, apply one to two pumps of Rejuvenating Serum.

3. Apply one to two pumps of Hydrating Serum to improve instant hydration.

4. Apply one to two pumps of Dual Action Redness Relief to improve the skin’s barrier function, calm the skin, and reduce redness and inflammation.

5. Apply CliniCalm® 1% when skin is irritated or itchy. Due to the maximum strength of hydrocortisone contained in CliniCalm® 1%, it should only be used for seven-day intervals or as directed by a physician.

6. Apply a small amount of Silkcoat® Balm for calming hydration.

7. Apply the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product for daytime moisture and broad spectrum UV protection.

8. Apply Skin Procedure Ointment to open areas as a protective barrier.

9. For the lips, apply Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster for instant hydrating and plumping.

Note: Apply the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product prior to applying Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster to protect the lips from UVA and UVB exposure.

Evening:

1. Cleanse the affected area with Creamy Cleanser. Allow the lather to sit on the area of treatment for one to two minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

2. Apply one to two pumps of Rejuvenating Serum.

3. Apply one to two pumps of Hydrating Serum.

4.  Apply one to two pumps of Dual Action Redness Relief.

5. Apply a pea-sized amount of CliniCalm® 1% when skin is irritated or itchy.

6. Apply a small amount of Skin Procedure Ointment to deeply moisturize skin. Once the skin has normalized, have the patient use a small amount of Silkcoat® Balm to calm and soothe skin barrier.

8. For the lips, apply Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster.

Weekly:

  1. Cleanse skin with a small amount of Creamy Cleanser on fingertips and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse and pat dry.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer of Hydrating Mask over entire face. Leave on for approximately five to ten minutes, depending on sensitivity. If uncomfortable, remove immediately. Remove mask with warm water using gentle, circular motions. Pat dry.
  3. Tone with Hydrating Toner.
  4. Apply a small amount of Silkcoat® Balm mixed with the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product for broad spectrum UV protection
