Skin is the human body’s largest organ, and it’s important to take care of it all – not just the skin on our face. In this course we will discuss the physiological differences of the skin on the body compared to facial skin. We will cover the most common concerns seen on the body such as; back acne, keratosis pilaris, psoriasis and eczema, aging concerns on the hands, neck and décolleté and dry, callused feet.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the physiological differences between facial skin and the skin on the body
- Have a better understanding of the potential causes of the most common skin concerns on the body
- Identify topical ingredients that are effective in the prevention and treatment of these concerns
- Confidently recommend treatment plans for treating these common body skin concerns
